I’m writing my first blog on “Shot of Inspiration.”  I hope to share beauty, inspiration, glimpses and reflections about the people, places, stories, books and the myriad of things I chance upon.

In a world of information overload and demands of modern living, may this blog serve as your respite, a “pick-me-up,” a mini re-charging zone as you go about doing what you need to do and have to do.

Today, my little wish for you is this, “May you have lots of time, to do the things you LOVE to do!” If this seems impossible,  start small.  Do you like to sing?  Well, sing in the shower!  Do you like connecting with friends and family?  Well, talk on the phone (with a headset of course) while on your commute home from work.

Incidentally, I recently discovered a new love in photography and spent an enjoyable few hours capturing the incredible beauty that exists in some incredible sea creatures at the California Academy of Sciences… enjoy!

in my younger years, friends like my drawings. when i drew something in a sheet of paper, friends treasured them when i hand it to them because they say its beautiful. and since then i always draw because i was inspired by their comments. but then, as i grew older, i realized drawing could not provide me my needs and older people said that drawing will not make me rich, so i shifted my interest to other things and forget my desire of drawing things i like to draw. now, in my fifties, i havent reached my goal of gettings rich yet and i begin to let go off of this goal, and my first love which is drawing is starting to be awaken in my nerves, i am starting to draw, and i know this would complete me, thank you for this post you send me “wishing you…time to do the things you love”
